                                                                              Kingston Primary Care Trust (PCT) wholeheartedly supports the local
                                                                              view that Surbiton Hospital should be used for healthcare services. The
                                                                              PCT also recognises that the health and safety of its patients is its
                                                                              primary duty.

                                                                              This leaflet supports the consultation document "Transfer of Services from
                                                                              Surbiton Hospital ". It summarises why we are consulting and what we are

                                                                              The consultation period runs from 10 October to 7 November. This is shorter
                                                                              than is usual but we need to make a decision before winter.

Why we need to change                                                                 What the options are

We are consulting on the transfer of patients from the Surbiton Hospital site.        Option 1 - Move all inpatient services sited at Surbiton Hospital to
