London to Oxford Bike Ride……….
Sunday 5th July 2009
Join us for a ride from London to Oxford, through the beautiful Thames Valley
countryside to help us to raise some money. As well as making you fitter and filling
you lungs with good, country air, the funds you raise for us will ensure the
continuation of our Teacher Training programme in rural Uganda. We work
to enhance the teaching and learning of Ugandan children, including nursery and
those with special educational needs.
Bike Events are the organisers. It is a fully supported bike ride with marshals,
refreshments, mechanics, first aid, pick-up vehicles and even entertainments!
Bring your friends, families and of course, bicycles and helmets and we will award a
REDEARTH tee-shirt to each supporter who turns up to ride with us.
All the information you will require about the route, maps and transport links is
on the Bike Events website.

!" Please register early to ensure you get a place. Registration fee £15.
!" Start collecting sponsors.

!" The start will we at Walpole Park, Mattock Lane, Ealing W5 5EQ
from 7.30am & 9am, on Sunday 5th July 2009. Look out for our banner!
!" Bring a cycling helmet.
Your £15 registration fee will go to the organisers, Bike Events. The funds that you
raise, by sponsorship or other means, will be paid to REDEARTH EDUCATION.
(A REDEARTH SPONSORSHIP form is provided below.)
We will contribute 15% of our total bike ride fund-raising to CLIC Sargent, a
Charity Caring for Children with Cancer, for whom the event has been organised.
We are very grateful that they have generously allowed us to share in the event.
REDEARTH will make a contribution of 15% of all the funds we raise from the bike
ride to CLIC Sargent.
