Applicants should have a B.Sc. degree in Physics / Materials Science / Chemistry or
equivalent. Preference will be given to those with hands-on experience in materials
characterisation and surface analysis. Duties include:
a. operation and maintenance of analysis instruments such as RBS, SEM, TEM,
XPS, SAM, KRD, XRF, FTIR and Raman;
b. data analysis and documentation; and
c. communication with industrial and academic users.
The appointment is wholly grant funded (i.e. its availability is subject to the
continuation of funding for the specific project) and will be made on a 2-year
renewable contract with 15% gratuity upon completion of service.

Galaxy Airlines (Macau) Cadet Pilot
This entry-level position is based in Macau, and is for candidates who display a strong interest in
GCE ‘A’ level, polytechnic diploma or degree;
A minimum of 5 Credits in the GCE ‘O’ level or its equivalent (Must include English,
Mathematics and a Science subject, preferably Physics);
At least 1.65 m in height;
Visual acuity of at least 6/60, correctable to 6/6. For candidates who have undergone
corrective eye surgery (e.g. Lasik), your pre-surgical visual acuity should not be more
than 500 degrees (myopia); and
Successful candidates will spend 15 to 17 months on training to acquire an Airline Transport
Pilot’s License (ATPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) at Pilot Training Schools in Macau and
Australia. Full board and lodging will be provided. Upon obtaining the flying license, you will
undergo further training for 1 to 2 years to become a First Officer.
REMUNERATIONS AND SERVICE BENEFITS
A monthly allowance will be provided during training. On appointment as a First Officer, you will
