William F. Gillis, MBA President
Mr. Gillis has led the development of over thirty new products/services from concept to market
introduction. An expert in identifying market needs and adapting technology to serve them, he has
applied his skill across multiple industries from telecommunications to consumer products and
financial services. He has lead teams in developing market-dominating products including Schwab’s
on-line brokerage service and the VHS brand VCR. He served as founding subsidiary CEO at
Schwab, US West and Motorola. He served as a White House Advisor on Internet services, was
cited by Fortune as an executive to watch and received a Congressional citation for innovative
technology applications. He has delivered keynote addresses at American Marketing Association
national conferences, was named Boss of the Year by the American Business Woman’s Association
and founded INFOLink™, a successful venture. He has ten years eldercare experience. He is a
Purdue engineer and holds an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Terry Alexander, Ph.D. Chief Technical Officer
Before assuming her position with Parent Care, Dr. Alexander served as principal of Relational
Systems, Inc. for over ten years and has been responsible for database development projects for
startups, midsize and Fortune 50 firms. She has managed large scale database developments for
Abbot Laboratories, Pacific Gas and Electric, Morgan Stanley, eCompany Network, Levi Strauss,
Kraft Foods and A Phi Beta Kappa, she earned her Masters in Applied Research at
Claremont Graduate School and a Ph.D. in engineering at University of California at Irvine.

Carey D. Sweet, Senior Editor
Ms. Sweet is Senior Editor of Parent Care, Inc. She previously served as president and creative
director of Voices in Ink Creative, a full-service marketing, feature writing and graphic design firm
she founded; Marketing Director for Diamond Key Homes and Creative Director of Pfaelzer, Johns
and Fitzgerald Public Relations Agency. Ms. Sweet is the recipient of numerous awards for business
industry reporting, restaurant criticism and food reviews. She received regional and national awards
from the National Association of Homebuilders and multiple awards from the Arizona Press Club.
Her feature articles have appeared in numerous national and regional newspapers, magazines and
periodicals. She earned an Associate of Arts Degree at Phoenix College before pursuing her
Bachelor’s Degree in Dramatic Writing at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Charles W. Fojtik, D.B.A. Advisor
Dr. Fojtik is Professor of Marketing at Pepperdine University and also heads the Delphi Bureau, an
independent marketing consulting firm. Clients seek his expertise in assessing market potential,
developing marketing plans, and creating market-driven organizations. Companies find particular
value in his combination of scientific and management knowledge, and his ability to build and apply
models of the marketing process. He has worked with Suzuki of America, Ralph's Grocery
Company, and Southern California Edison as well as numerous small high-tech start-up
organizations. Currently, he is working with the co-founder of the German Customer Satisfaction
Index on issues related to customer satisfaction and valuation. He received his B.A. from
Northwestern University and his M.B.A., D.B.A., from the University of Southern California.
