      Strength of the Institution:
      a) A.N. College, Patna is a Constituent Unit of Magadh University Bodh Gaya. It is a premier co-educational
          institution of Bihar imparting Under Graduate teaching in 22 subjects and Post Graduate teaching in 22 subjects.
      b) In recognition of its all round sustained development the UGC, New Delhi conferred upon CPE (College with
          Potential for Excellence) status to A. N. College, Patna in the year 2004.
      c) While appreciating the achievements of the institution NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council),
          Bangalore has graded A. N. College, Patna as Grade “A” institution in2005.
      d) A Placement & Guidance Cell has been established in the college under the CPE scheme of UGC, New Delhi and
          the same has been functional. Already some companies/ Organizations have visited the college and a good
          number of students have been placed in those companies.
      e) A. N. College, Patna has completed 50 years of its establishment in 2006.
      f)  A. N. College, Patna has developed its own website (ancollege.org) and puts up updated information for the
          benefit of the students and guardians.
      g) Apart from imparting traditional classroom teaching with audio-visual aid, innovations are regularly made to make
          the teaching-learning process informal and lively.
      h) Quiz contest, group discussions, debates and essay competitions are regularly organized. Personality
          development sessions are also held.
      i)  We regularly send our students to reputed companies/ Organizations for project training under able supervision of
          our faculty members.
      j)  The Director and four faculty members are working on different Research Projects as approved and sanctioned by
          the UGC, New Delhi.
      k) A modern digital Language-Lab has been established under the CPE scheme of U.G.C to cater the needs of
          enhancing the communicative skill of the students. The college has started courses of German and Korean
          languages.
      l)  A Women’s hostel having the capacity of accommodation of 70 girls is under construction which has been
          sanctioned by U.G.C.
      m) Kangwan University, South Korea has offered for academic and cultural co-operation .We have accepted it and
          sent the Letter of Intention.

      Weakness of the Institution:

      a)   As the fee structure is decided by Magadh University, Bodh Gaya which is below the average of AICTE recognized
           institutions imparting MBA/MCA courses. Hence, we face difficulty in meeting the infrastructural
           requirements/norms as has been laid down by the AICTE.
      b)   Furthermore the syllabus for MBA/MCA is drafted by Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, hence it takes time to update
           and modified the syllabus.

      n) A.N. College, Patna is a Constituent Unit of Magadh University Bodh Gaya. It is a premier co-educational
          institution of Bihar imparting Under Graduate teaching in 22 subjects and Post Graduate teaching in 22 subjects.
      o) In recognition of its all round sustained development the UGC, New Delhi conferred upon CPE (College with
          Potential for Excellence) status to A. N. College, Patna in the year 2004.
      p) While appreciating the achievements of the institution NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council),
          Bangalore has graded A. N. College, Patna as Grade “A” institution in the year 2005.
      q) A Placement & Guidance Cell has been established in the college under the CPE scheme of UGC, New Delhi and
          the same has been functional. Already some companies/ Organizations have visited the college and a good
          number of students have been placed in those companies.

      c)   As the fee structure is decided by Magadh University, Bodh Gaya which is below the average of AICTE recognized
           institutions imparting MBA/MCA courses. Hence, we face difficulty in meeting the infrastructural
           requirements/norms as has been laid down by the AICTE.
      d)   Furthermore the syllabus for MBA/MCA is drafted by Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, hence it takes time to update
           and modified the syllabus.
