November 9, 2008 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Be the First to Apply for your Pennsylvania Loan Solicitor License OnLine on the New NMLS System on November 9, 2008 at the Hershey Conference! Representatives from the PA Department of Banking and CSBS/AARMR will be present to guide you through the process!! The Pennsylvania Department of Banking (DOB) will be on line with the National Mortgage Licensing System on November 5, 2008. On November 9th, Vickie Slater, Licensing Policy Coordinator, Conference of State Banking Supervisors will review the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) with attendees who should bring their laptops to the session. Vickie and the other speakers will stay following their presentations to assist attendees with using the new NMLS system on line. Attendees will actually be able to file license applications that day using their own laptops. Timothy Siwy, currently the Acting Director of the Bureau of Compliance, Investigation, and Licensing at the Pennsylvania Department of Banking will also review the new Pennsylvania License Law and how it interrelates with the S.A.F.E. Federal Licensing Statute. David Bleicken, Deputy Superintendent, Pennsylvania Department of Banking and E. Robert Levy, Executive Director & Legislative Counsel, MBA of PA will discuss the Model State Law proposed by CSBS/AARMR and how it will impact the licensing of loan solicitors in Pennsylvania. This is a rare opportunity to get ahead of the game and learn all you need to know to move forward with licensing in PA...
