Role
Shane Ridley is a Senior Consulting Professional with a background in Metallurgy and Management Consulting. He has wide reaching “hands-on” experience in technical consulting and operational management within the process, mining and professional services industries. Shane provides a dual role at Optika in leading process-centric consulting engagements with our customers; and providing strategic and commercial management focus to ensure projects meet the business needs of our clients. Shane is a founding Director of Optika.
Experience
Shane has extensive operational experience both in a technical capacity and in senior management positions. Technically, Shane has been involved with mine start-up, construction and commissioning of processing plants, development of operational management systems and leading continuous improvement projects. In management, Shane has provided strategic HR consulting services, including organisational and business unit restructures, performance management programs, business performance analytics, project governance and change management, as well as providing project financial evaluation, business case submission and project management. More recently, Shane has focused on delivering production chain management systems projects within the resource industry in areas such as quality systems, advanced planning and scheduling, execution and reporting systems.
