To MBA or not to MBA: Contemporary career systems and the impact & relevance of MBA

The seminar will deal with the changing nature of career systems and the role of human capital in individual and organizational survival and revival. Of specific focus will be the possible added value of post-graduate management education, where the results of three comprehensive studies will be presented. These studies examined such an impact in the UK and the USA.
Practical implications will be discussed for individuals, for employers, for business schools, and for policy makers at national level.
