St Albans enjoys a frequent train service on the Kings Cross ThamesLink line
to central London. The train to Kings Cross take between 21-30mins
according to the timetable.

Upon arrival, climb steps to Victoria St and turn right. Our office is at the far end, close to
the Town Hall approx. 10-15 mins. walk, uphill all the way.

50 yards from the ‘T’ junction at end of the road you will notice an archway on the left which
leads into Art School Yard. You may also notice that Pickworths’ sign is displayed on the
windows above the Chemist next to the entrance.

Enter the yard and immediately turn right where you will find a low flight of steps leading to
our door.

Alternatively you may wish to take a taxi from the rank outside the station.


By Car
M25 to junction 21A - sign-posted St Albans and M1 South (A405). Travelling
clockwise this junction is immediately after junction 21 - signed ‘M1 North’.
At the roundabout off slip road take 1st exit signed to St Albans.

After ¼ mile, at another roundabout, take 1st exit to the left of the garage, signed ‘Chiswell
Green’. (The 2nd exit is signed to St Albans, but ignore this).

Drive straight through Chiswell Green. After ½ mile go straight across a double mini
roundabout. After another 1 mile cross straight over another double mini roundabout,
between the pub and the church.

Proceed down St Stephens Hill and straight on up Holywell Hill into the City Centre. At the
1st traffic lights (near the top of the hill) turn right into London Road.

After ¼ mile take 1st proper turning on the left into Marlborough Road (ignore the entrance
to a delivery access to the rear of the Maltings Shopping Mall).

Take 1st left sign-posted Maltings Car Park. This is an NCP car park where you pay on foot at
a paystation, as you leave.

You enter the car park on level ‘-3’. Park as close to level G as you can.


From the Car Park on Foot
Exit the car park on level G into the pedestrian shopping centre. Walk straight
ahead passing between the shops. Just after the Body Shop (on your right) you
will see a turning to the right which leads into Art School Yard. A sign, directing
pedestrians to Pickworths, should be displayed on the wall ahead of you.

Our door is at the far end of Art School Yard, just to the left of the archway which leads into
Victoria Street.

There is a door buzzer at the top of a low flight of steps.


Disabled Access: This building does not offer good access for those with a disability as there
are many steps and no lift. We will be pleased to make special arrangements to meet you
