									         Creating a Form or Worksheet with Blanks with AppleWorks

Use “Tab Fills” or “Tab Leaders”
To create a blank with a variable beginning point and fixed ending point:
       Insert a tab stop at the end of the blank
       Double-Click on the “ending” tab stop to modify the “fill”
              Change from “None” to a solid line (lower right choice)
              Click [OK]
       Type some text (E.g., “Name”)
       Type one or more spaces
       Press the <Tab> key to “draw” the blank
To create a blank with both fixed beginning and ending points:
       Insert a tab stop at the beginning of the blank
       Insert a tab stop at the end of the blank
       Double-Click on the “ending” tab stop to modify the “fill”
              Change from “None” to a solid line (lower right choice)
              Click [OK]
       Press the <Tab> key to move the cursor to the beginning of the blank
       Press the <Tab> key again to “draw” the blank
