LOTE (Pathway 1) Level 4 Suggested time: 6 weeks (1 hr lessons)
A unit linking to Interpersonal development, Personal Learning, The Arts, Science, Communication, ICT and Thinking
Students have been introduced to the concept of the water cycle through their class work. This unit brings together their understanding of the
water cycle in the new context and students build a model to demonstrate their understanding.
Rationale: To gain a broad understanding of the topic of water, including the water cycle and water conservation strategies in Germany and
Australia.
Aim: Students will have the understanding and be able to use vocabulary to describe and build their own water cycle and understand water
conservation.
