APPARATUS JANSSEN & FRITSEN SUPPLIED RULES AND The competition must be organized under the following FIG rules, as valid in the year REGULATIONS of the competition, except for any deviation mentioned in the Invitation letter and the directives: • Statutes • Technical Regulations • Code of Points • Judges Rules • Licenses Rules • Medical Organization of the Official FIG Competitions • Doping Control Rules • FIG Media Guidelines • FIG Apparatus Norms • FIG Advertising and Publicity Rules • Regulations for Awards Ceremonies • and subsequent decisions of the FIG Executive Committee FEDERATIONS The organising member federation will invite all FIG member federations in good INVITED standing. PARTICIPATION The maximum size of the invited delegation is as follows: Individual Group Joint Head of Delegation (HD) 1 1 1 Team Manager (TM) 1 1 2 Coach 1 1 2 Gymnasts 4 6 10 Doctor 1 1 1 Physiotherapist 1 1 2 Judges 2 2 4 Total 11 13 22 The “hors concours” competitors are allowed according to the Specific World Cup Rules for Rhythmic Gymnastics, point 2.4 AGE LIMITS Age Limit: 16 years (born in 1994 or before) REGISTRATION Provisional, Definitive and Nominative Registrations must be completed by entering DEADLINES the composition of the delegation on line as follows: http://www.fig-gymnastics.com Provisional registration 26th April 2010 (4 months prior to the event) Definitive registration: 26th June 2010 (2 months prior to the event) Nominative registration 26th July 2010 (4 weeks prior to the event) Entries will only be accepted from FIG Member Federations. Late entries will be considered as invalid and will be refused. However, under exceptional circumstances the FIG President in agreement with the Organizing Member Federation may accept late registrations, while reserving the right to impose a fine especially in cases of recurrences. ENTRY FEES The cost for the entry fee is Euro 40 per individual gymnast and Euro 120 per group. The invited participating federations must pay for all entry fees. At the time of the Definitive entry (2 months prior to the event) 100% of the entry fee must be paid to the OC. The entry fee is not refundable. Entries without payment of the entry fees will be considered as invalid and will be refused. 2 ACCREDITATION Accreditation of all delegations will take place at their arrival in the Adriatic Arena. Heads of delegation have to check names of their own delegation members, hotel reservation; they also have to effect all necessary payments. Heads of delegation have to bring to accreditation office: - a passport photo of each delegation member; - a CD with the national anthem and the national flag; - 20 copies of each fiche for individual D&A; - 20 copies of each fiche for group D&A; - Certification of insurance for all delegation members covering illness, accidents, repatriation. PLANNED The World Cup Competitions and Series consist of Qualifications and Apparatus COMPETITION Finals. FORMAT The Organizing Federation has chosen the following competition formats: Competition by apparatus for Individuals and Groups The organizing member federation will also offer an All-Around competition (not eligible for the assignment of World Cup Points). In any case, the rules for Competition III are applied, including the tie breaking rules. DOPING CONTROL The Organizing Member Federation will provide a minimum of 4 doping controls for individual gymnasts and 4 for groups at its own charge. The doping controls will be effected according to current Doping Control Rules. VISA Please verify immediately with your travel agent or the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your country if a visa is required for your travel to Italy. The Organizing Committee will be happy to assist each Delegation member with an official invitation letter, provided that the request is made before 26th June 2010. The request must include the full name, date of birth, gender, function, passport number, passport expiry date, and the arrival and departure dates of the Delegation Member. INSURANCE The Host Federation, the Organizing Committee and the FIG will not be held responsible for any liabilities in case of accidents, illness and the like. The FIG Technical Regulations (Section 1, article 12.10) foresee that all participating Federations are responsible for making their own arrangements to have the necessary valid insurance coverage against illness, accidents and for repatriation for all the members of their Delegation. The OC will verify the insurance upon arrival of the delegation members (e.g. cover note or photocopy of the valid policy). Delegation members with insufficient coverage must inform the OC in advance. The OC will subsequently offer insurance at the Federations own’s charge as follows: Euro 30 per person/day. 3 INTERNATIONAL The members of the invited participating federations must pay for their international TRANSPORTATION transportation. LOCAL Local transportation costs will be covered by the L.O.C.: TRANSPORTATION the L.O.C. will take in charge transportation costs, for all accredited people, from the airports of Ancona (40 minutes from Pesaro) and Rimini (40 minutes from Pesaro) to hotels, and from hotels to Adriatic Arena (and vice-versa), only if hotel reservations are made through the L.O.C. ACCOMMODATION Hotels in B&B, price per person and per day: Superior Four Stars hotel Triple room € 75,00 Double room € 80,00 Single room € 110,00; Four Stars Hotel Triple room € 70,00 Double room € 75,00 Single room € 95,00; Superior Three Stars Hotel Triple room € 62,00 Double room € 65,00 Single room € 90,00 Three Stars Hotel Triple room € 57,00 Double room € 60,00 Single room € 80,00 The prices charged for all the hotel rooms will not exceed the usual hotel rates. The Hotel rooms will be allocated on a “first come, first serve” basis. The invited participating federations must pay for their Accommodation costs. At the time of the Definitive entry (2 months prior to the event) 50% of the Accommodation costs must be paid to the OC. Entries without the payment of the 50% of the Accommodation costs will be considered as invalid and will be refused. In case of cancellation, costs will be refunded as follows: before 1st August 2010: 80% of the total amount before 15th August 2010: 50% of the total amount after 16th August 2010: no refund The Organizing Federation will pay accommodation including full board for the top three individual gymnasts / groups per apparatus listed in the FIG World Ranking List, from the official arrival day to the official departure day. Additional accommodation costs are to be borne by respective National Federations. MEALS Meals can be taken in a site close to Adriatic Arena, booking and buying coupons through the O.C. Meals prices are: lunch € 15,00 / dinner € 15,00 / lunch and dinner € 25,00. N.B.: Additional cost for one meal at the hotel: € 20,00. The cost for the meals must be paid to the OC by 26th July 2010. In case of cancellation, costs will be refunded as follows: before 1st August 2010: 80% of the total amount before 15th August 2010: 50% of the total amount after 16th August 2010: no refund 4 The Organizing Federation will pay full board for the top three gymnasts per apparatus listed in the FIG World Cup Series Ranking List from the official arrival day to the official departure day. For additional days, these costs are to be borne by the respective National Federations. FINAL BANQUET The Final Banquet will take place on August 29th, 2010 and will be offered by the O.C. Only Delegations (accredited members) and invited people can participate. FIG TECHNICAL The FIG Technical Delegate and EC member (if applicable) will be designated by the DELEGATE AND FIG. EC MEMBER The FIG Technical Delegate will serve as President of the Superior Jury. JUDGES AND The number of Apparatus Juries (judges’ panels) may be decided by the organizing JURIES member federation depending on the number of participating competitors and judges. The Apparatus Juries are set up by a draw - directed by the FIG Technical Representative - from the judges present at the event. Priority will always be given to the judges of the highest Category. The composition of the Jury is the following: 4 D judges (min Cat II), as well as 4 A judges and 4 E (min cat III) The participating member federations must send minimum one qualified judge Cat. I, II or III. Failure to do so will result in a fine of Swiss Francs 2’000.- to be paid to the organizing member federation. The organizing member federation is responsible that there are enough FIG brevetted judges present with the appropriate and valid category of brevet for their function. At the latest 4 days after the deadline of nominative entry, the organizing member federation sends to the FIG the nominative list of judges. Should there not be sufficient judges, the organizing federation may propose to the FIG for approval the name of neutral additional judges to complete the panels (plus 1 reserve) For requirements see the Specific Judges’ Rules. PRIZE MONEY The organising member federation must pay the following minimum Prize Money (amounts in Swiss Francs – CHF): Individuals by apparatus: Category A: CHF 5’000.- Groups Final 3+2 and 5 each: Category A: CHF 2’500.- The Prize Money, free of any deductible taxes, will be distributed in Euro as follows: Individuals A-Tournaments (net amount) Ranking Prize Money (CHF) 1 1’500 2 1’200 3 800 4 500 5 400 6 300 7 200 8 100 5 Groups A-Tournaments (net amount) Ranking Prize Money (CHF) 1 2’500 2 1’500 3 1’000 No prize money and medals will be given, if there are less than 4 participating federations per apparatus or category. WORLD CUP In principle, the official results and the updated FIG World Cup Series Ranking List SERIES RANKING will be published on the FIG web site within 48 hours after the competition. POINTS - ASSIGNMENT OF Separate World Cup Series Ranking Lists are established for every apparatus WORLD CUP beginning with the first World Cup event of the year and ending with the last World POINTS FOR THE Cup event of the year as follows: WORLD CUP SERIES RANKING Individual Gymnasts Groups LIST Rope Exercise with 5 apparatus Hoop Exercise with 3 + 2 apparatus Ball Clubs Ribbon according to the programme valid for the period of the competition For the Individual All-Around World Cup Series Ranking Lists, World Cup Points are assigned to the competitors by name. For the Groups, World Cup Points are assigned to the Federation. The Groups are listed by Federation only. Rank Category A 1 50 2 40 3 30 4 25 5 23 6 20 7 18 8 16 9 14 10 13 11 12 12 11 13 10 14 9 15 8 16 6 In case that less than four federations participate per apparatus or per category, no World Cup Points will be given 6 WINNER OF THE The winner of the annual World Cup per apparatus is the gymnast with the highest ANNUAL WORD number of points of the World Cup Series Ranking List after the last event of the year CUP as follows: - If 8, 7, 6 or 5 World Cup Competitions take place per year, the best 4 are counted - If 4 or 3 World Cup Competitions take place per year all points are counted. A special award ceremony will be held at the last World Cup Competition of the year (Cat. A) in which the World Cup winner will receive the World Cup. In case of a tie in the World Cup Series Ranking List after the last competition of the year, the tie will not be broken.
