HISTORY/FACTS/ISSUES:
Sumter County Transit has provided afterschool transportation to the attendees of Sumter County
Youth Center for 11 years. The youth center provides school board students with afterschool care. We
are able to use the trip counts for invoicing purposes which averages 10,000 trips per year. The
contract is renewed annually in December. There are no changes to the contract other than the
effective and expiration dates.
