					RECIPROCAL BORROWING AGREEMENT BETWEEN BENEDICTINE UNIVERSITY AND COLLEGE OF DUPAGE

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Current students, faculty, and staff of Benedictine University and College of DuPage may have reciprocal borrowing privileges from these institutions' libraries. For these privileges to be extended, the following proof of institutional affiliation must be presented: Benedictine University and College of DuPage faculty and staff: current institutional identification card Benedictine University students: current student identification card and current schedule. College of DuPage students: Illinois driver's license and current registration schedule BORROWING PRIVILEGES All materials that normally circulate to community borrowers/ public library patrons are available to reciprocal borrowers. Loan periods will be the same as those for community borrowers/public library patrons. OTHER SERVICES Reciprocal borrowers do not have off campus access to licensed databases or Interlibrary Loan privileges. RESPONSIBILITY FOR MATERIALS The individual reciprocal borrower is responsible for any fines and/or bills for lost, damaged, or non-returned items. Students with fines and/or bills for lost, damaged, or non-returned items will have borrowing privileges suspended and may be placed on hold at their home institution. Faculty members with fines and/or bills for lost, damaged, or non-returned items are subject to the normal collection policies of the reciprocal library. 10/20/04
