TRANSFER ARTICULATION AGREEMENT between DOMINICAN COLLEGE and HELENE FULD COLLEGE OF NURSING at NORTH GENERAL HOSPITAL Articulation Agreement Details Specific Program Requirements Articulation Agreement Details (Back to the top) • The Helene Fuld College of Nursing students who graduate with an A.A.S. degree and a cumulative GPA of 2.7 will be accepted to Dominican College's RN to BSN program. • Upon transferring into Dominican College, qualified nursing graduates will be awarded up to a maximum of 59 credits earned at the Helene Fuld College of Nursing. This includes a maximum of 31 credits in Nursing. • Each transferring student will be assigned a program faculty advisor in the Weekend College or Accelerated Wednesday program. The advisor will assist the student in charting a comprehensive academic program plan allowing for completion of all BSN requirements and graduation in the shortest time possible. • Students who transfer from the Helene Fuld College of Nursing to Dominican College are expected to adhere to general academic policies and procedures required for admission to the College, and to fulfill any particular requirements that may be in place for the nursing programs at the College. The Dominican College catalogue and, in some cases, the nursing student manual, specify in detail all relevant policies and procedures. • All transfer students will need to satisfy Dominican College’s General Education Curriculum requirements, which include components in (I) General Skills, (II) Roots of Contemporary Life and Culture, (IIIA) Science, and (IIIB) Values. These requirements are outlined in the catalogue. (Also see page 2 of this agreement). • Both the Helene Fuld College of Nursing and Dominican College agree to keep each other informed of program changes in a timely way. This articulation agreement is effective for a period of three years from June 1, 2002, to May 31, 2005.
