Micromet and Merck & Co., Inc. Sign License Agreement for Single-Chain Antibodies
Munich, Germany, July 15, 2004 – Micromet AG announced today that it has signed an agreement with Merck & Co., Inc. granting Merck a broad research license to the joint patent estate of Micromet and Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in the field of single-chain antibodies (SCA). Under the terms of the agreement, Micromet will receive an upfront payment and annual maintenance fees, which will be shared between Micromet and Enzon.
