Ionatron Announces Exclusive Patent License Agreement with L-3 Communications Applied Technologies Division Tucson, AZ, September 11, 2006 – Ionatron, Inc., (Nasdaq: IOTN) a Laser Guided Energy (LGE™) company developing next generation Directed Energy Weapons, has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with defense contractor L-3 Communications Applied Technologies Division for technology related to electromagnetic vehicle disabling. The agreement is an exclusive license for all commercial, military or governmental applications for the claims of L-3’s U.S. patent on “Electromagnetic Vehicle Disable Systems and Methods” (#6,371,000 issued April 2002).
