NATION BUILDING AND JOBS PLAN – NSW IMPLEMENTATION Opportunities for the residential development industry to participate Housing NSW is seeking tenders to deliver new dwellings through a land and multi-unit development packages request for tender. These packages will be funded by the Australian Government’s Nation Building and Jobs Plan (the Stimulus Package) and other Housing NSW programs. Tenders are sought for: • sale of land and • development projects with sale of land and building contracts. Housing NSW prefers: • designs conducive to adaptable housing • developments near transport, health and community services • inclusion of 1-2 bedroom dwellings • whole development packages (ie. excluding strata lots) and • small/medium size developments of up to 20 dwellings, with some larger projects considered. Tenders are sought for the greater Sydney metropolitan area, all centres along the NSW coast, from Tweed Heads to Wollongong, and for other regional centres, including Orange, Bathurst, Wagga Wagga, Armidale, Tamworth, Moree, Queanbeyan, Dubbo, Albury, Shellharbour, Nowra and Batemans Bay.
