There is an extensive range of options available from Misco.. This range includes optional equipment
that enhances the use of the projector/plasma/LCD systems, replacement consumable items and
installation options.

    •    Audio speakers & cabling
    •    Products to enhance the use of interactive whiteboards

    •    Replacement projector bulbs (in addition to those provided free of charge)

    •    Maintenance Contracts


Installation Process
The installation service detailed in this document assumes a standard room & subject to site survey.
Additional charges will apply for work over and above those specifications documented.

The installation will consist of
    •    Installation of projector & ceiling mount (ceiling mount included in price)
    •    Installation of plasma/LCD screen (Wall mount is not included in price)
    •    Installation of facility plate, 15m of cabling, and trunking
    •    The mounting of interactive whiteboards and/or projector screens
    •    Fitting of lock kits
    •    Testing and sign off

Installation Assumptions
The installation service detailed in this document assumes a standard room with the following conditions
& is subject to a site survey.

Fixed priced installations assume the following conditions:

    •    The wall where the whiteboard/plasma/LCD is to be installed is free of obstructions.
    •    The ceiling is flat solid, suspended or apex with the maximum working height not exceeding 4
         meters.
    •    Direct connection to a solid ceiling is available for the projector pole without having to be
         bracketed around obstructions (for example air conditioning units or bulk power trunking).
    •    Sufficient 240volt mains power is available for the board, projector and the speakers (if
         installed).
    •    The distance between the wall plate and the projector does not exceed 15 meters of cable
         trunking
    •    Open access to the room during usual working hours.
    •    Additional charges will apply for work over and above those specifications documented

Installation is carried out based on access during a standard working day; night installations are
available as are weekends and can be quoted upon request.

Installation Sign – Off
All work is tested on site and prior to handover each customer must sign a satisfaction note before our
engineers leave the site. This ensures that all parties are aware of completion and safeguards the

quality of our service. Our installations are fully guaranteed for one year following completion and
handover.

Incidental Costs
The following occurrences will incur a £300.00 + VAT additional charge; these will be chargeable to the
client.

•   All installations cancelled by the end user customer, within 3 days of the agreed installation date.
•   Where access to a site or room is not available on the agreed installation date.
•   Any further occurrences that cause disruption of works through no fault of Misco.
•   Any return visits required through no fault of Misco, these will be charged on a per visit basis at the
    cost detailed above.

Please note that any additional work required to complete installations that does not fall within
the criteria of the installation detailed above will be chargeable as necessary. This charge will be
agreed with the client and a separate purchase order will be required.


It should be noted that Misco will endeavour to keep additional costs to a minimum, additional costs will
only be applied if additional installation time or resource is required to complete installations. Where
work is cancelled or postponed and Misco can reallocate engineers without additional costs being
incurred, no additional costs will be applied. All discretion with regards to additional costs required
remains with Misco at all times.




Maintenance Contract Details
Introduction and Objectives
Plexnet (Misco Partner) will be responsible for the tracking and completion of all planned maintenance

visits. Planned visits will be undertaken within the 2 and 4 quarter of any given 12 month contract.

Prior to the agreement being in place a full audit will be carried out to determine the age and condition of
the relevant AV equipment, also to determine if the original 3rd party supplier is still operating.

The contract covers the following,
    •   Checking all fixings and cables are secure
    •   Check stability of ceiling mount/boom/whiteboard are stable and secure
    •   Clean projector filters
    •   Projector colour test
    •   Projector lamp
    •   Projector lamp life test (if supported by projector)
    •   Recalibration of IWB
    •   Propriety software update
    •   Audio/DVD/VCR service check
    •   Serial no. audit
    •   Written Report

Maintenance will not cover 3 party projectors, projector bulb, Interactive whiteboards, IWB accessories,
speakers and plasma/LCD screens that have been damaged or failed due to faulty (This is covered by
the manufacturer’s warranty).

damaged, accidental damage, repositioned or electrical fluctuations

Level 1 – This level includes for a company engineer to undertake two planned maintenance visits per
annum. Does not include replacement looms.

The above level includes telephone support during normal office hours.

Hours of Operation

School Line hours of operation will be from 08:30 through to 17:30 hrs Monday-Friday. All requests for
assistance received before 14:00 will be dealt with on a next working day basis, all works will be
undertaken within 24 hours for service levels 2 & 3
