1􀀛 Solution Latitude’s experienced team of senior Java architects and developers proviide guidance and technical talent to Chyrsler Group’s application support teams. Liaisons from each support team met regularly with the Latitude SWAT team for assistance in WebSphere, Java, Solaris, and the dealership portaal’ framework. By intervening early in the process, migrated applications had a sound technical basis and utilized the reusabbl objects in the dealership portal’s framework. The fl exible staffi ng modee allowed optimal levels of personnel during peaks of migration activities. Using a deep dive review process insuure thorough and complete code reviews. Results and Benefi ts The quality and rate of application migraatio improved dramatically, allowiin the client to more quickly realize the savings of a web-based solution. Over 240 dealer applications had to be migrated from a legacy platform to a web-based framework.
