1Business Need Both British Petroleum suppliers and customers needed access to BP pricing and marketing information to accuratell forecast and meet customer demand. Before the NGLNow project, providiin this information to suppliers was a long and laborious process that resulted in suboptimal capacity utilization and higher costs for all stakeholders: BP, its suppliers, and its customers. By providiin customers and suppliers access to BP’s ERP systems through a web-based supply chain exchange, information could be shared and used in a more timely and efficient manner, reducing costs and adding value for everyone. Solution Latitude worked with key stakeholders and users and developed a system visiio document describing system conceept and goals. From that a detailed design document, system specifications, look-and-feel templates, and a style guide were developed. Personas, scenarrios and usability analysis reports defiine the key roles and users of the new system. After gathering and analyzing the business and system requirements, Latitude designed, developed, and implemmente a centralized, public-facing, web-based source of information about the BP business unit.
