Concord High School Personalising Education The School Uniform Concord High School is a uniform school. The school uniform is available from the school uniform shop which is situated directly opposite the main administration office at the front of the school. The uniform shop is operated and staffed by the Parents’ and Citizens’ Association of Concord High School. It is open on Mondays 9.30am – 1.30pm and Wednesdays 11.00am – 1.30pm during the school term. However, these changes will be introduced gradually, both to help families financially and for manufacturing reasons. The changeover period will extend over at least 2009 and 2010, so that students can continue to wear the uniform they have until it needs replacement. It is currently expected that some of the new items (skirts, trousers, vest) will be available for the winter terms of 2009. In the meantime, students are expected to continue to wear the uniform currently available. Please note that Mary Jane styles, open-topped and shoes with heels for girls, are not acceptable for Occupational Health and Safety reasons.
