Are in foreign countries...

                                                      Are in brothels...

                              Are on the streets...

                                               in our neighborhoods...
 Are in the United States...
So let’s keep them in our hearts and prayers.
Sex trafficking is the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provi-
sioning, or obtaining of a person for the purpose of a commercial
sex act.
• The average age of entry into prostitution in the U.S. is 12.*
• A high prevalence of foreign-born women in a country’s sex industry is highly indicative of
    international sex trafficking.
• Many adult women in prostitution experience physical and psychological coercion, physical
abuse, and torture that classify them as victims of severe forms of sex trafficking.
• Victims of sex trafficking are trafficked into various forms of commercial sexual exploitation
such as prostitution, pornography, and stripping.

• Pray for those who are trafficked. Ask God to protect them. Pray for their freedom
from trafficking. Pray for healing and restoration through Christ’s love.

• Pray for the governments, NGOs and people fighting human trafficking. Pray
that they depend on God’s strength, guidance, and wisdom. Pray that His Spirit will
give them perseverance in the fight. Pray for vision and unity.

• Pray for justice. Pray that God brings justice to sex traffickers and raises up
government officials that are committed to justice.

• Pray for your heart. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you live a life of purity. Ask that He
will increase your compassion for those who are trafficked.

Respond not out of pity or guilt, but respond because Christ’s love
compels us to. Respond because you believe in the power of prayer.
Above all, respond because you want to love like Jesus did.
