The park has wonderful riding trails! PLEASE remember to pick up manure/hay from the parking area when you leave. Food: Drinks/snacks available; picnic areas next to the ring. Location: Bridle Trails State Park Directions: Exit I-405 at NE 70th, turn south onto 116th Ave 53rd & 116th Ave N.E. NE on east side of I-405. Straight ahead at Kirkland, Washington stop sign at 60th Ave. NE. Watch for Park Day of show phone: 425-822-0605 entrance on left in less than 1 mile. Attire and Rules Show clothes and braiding are definitely not necessary for these shows, but a riding helmet, breeches and boots are required. Horses may wear leg wraps or boots. All other USEF rules will apply. NOTE: The September 13 show if our “dress up” occasion: formal clothes are encouraged (but not required) and special awards may be given. Scoring and Prizes Ribbons will be awarded in these classes: Introductory Level Tests 1-2 (Will start at 8:00 am) Training Level Tests 1-2 Training Level Tests 3-4 (Likely to start after 1:00 pm) First Level Test 1 First Level Test 2, 3, 4, Second Level and above - Test of Choice (Likely to start after 3:30 pm) Gaited (to identify tests: http://www.fosh.info/pdf/IJADressageManual2009.pdf tests begin on page 65) NOTE: You may ride one or more tests in any class. You may ride the same test more than once; however, only the first ride will be eligible for a ribbon. Please LIMIT YOUR RIDES to no more than three tests per horse. LWSC MEMBERS: Your best 2 scores from at least 2 shows will count for year-end high percentage awards. Remember – you must work 2 half days at a LWSC dressage or fun show to be eligible for a year- end award.
