Blue Jupiter, the world‐famous a cappella quartet
includes Marty the Beat‐Boxer, Chris the Screaming‐ High Tenor, Jonathan the Human Orchestra, and Diana, “The Secret Weapon” Broadway Singer and Voice‐over Artist. Their four powerful voices set the audience ablaze with infectious energy, seamless harmony and thunderous vocal percussion. Your students will swear they have a back‐up band!
A Cappella University
Blue Jupiter’s high‐energy, a cappella stage show features up‐tempo pop and jazz tunes arranged in their signature vocal‐funk style. In this 45‐minute, K‐12 program, Blue Jupiter takes students back in time with their “Time Machine Funk Bus” on a journey exploring the past, present, and future of the A Cappella art form. The program includes a demonstration of a variety of a cappella music styles including Gregorian Chant, Spiritual Music, Barbershop, Doo Wop, and more. Blue Jupiter will also show how a cappella songs are composed, give students a vocal percussion lesson, and sing their winning Oreo Cookie Theme Song. A Cappella University is an interactive school assembly where students participate in singing, clapping and dancing to familiar pop tunes, and have an opportunity to try out vocal percussion. Students can also ask Blue Jupiter questions and will answer a few questions about what they learned. For further exploration of a cappella music, please ask about Blue Jupiter’s residency programs and fundraisers. 800-883-9883
