Citrus College offers both associate in arts and associate in science degrees. Associate degree requirements are listed in the college catalog. It is important to make an appointment with the Counseling and Advisement Center to develop a Student Educational Plan (SEP) as a guide to complete your educational goal. ASSOCIATE IN ARTS/SCIENCE The associate in arts/science degrees require a minimum of at least 18 units with grades of C or above in one of the following majors: fine and performing arts, language arts, social/behavioral sciences and liberal arts. Fine and Performing Arts Sample courses for this major might include: Art Dance Music Theater Arts/Drama Language Arts Sample courses for this major might include: Communications/Journalism English Foreign Languages Speech Liberal Arts Satisfactory completion of lower division general education certification for CSU, UC (IGETC), plus 60 transferable units and the physical education requirement. Social/Behavioral Sciences Sample courses for this major might include: Cultural Anthropology Cultural Geography Economics History Human Development Humanities Philosophy Political Science Psychology Sociology

To enroll, submit an application for admission online at: https://wingspan.citruscollege.edu Provide sealed official transcripts of all previous college and high school work, if applicable. Assessment of English and math skills is required for all new students planning to enroll in more than 5 units or planning to complete an associate degree or higher. For assessment information, contact the Counseling and Advisement Center. Concurrent Enrollment for High School Students Some programs and classes are available for current junior and senior high school students. Interested high school students should contact their high school counselor or the college’s Admissions and Records Office. Please note: Only courses numbered 100-299 may apply toward the associate degree.
