INDEPENDENT SELF EMPLOYED CONTRACT Between SJPCB Limited and _______________________________
Provision of Services The Contractor shall supply the services described in the relevant Operator Training Manual to SJPCB Limited, and that their service shall be supplied to the best skill and ability of the Contractor. Age The Contractor warrants that at the time of entering into this agreement with SJPCB Limited that they are over the age of eighteen.
Training Upon completion of your Application and short Questionnaire you, the Contractor shall be sent a manual detailing all of the information that you will need to access and use the system, and what we expect from our Operators. Training from a Manager will begin before going live on the system.
Working Times The nature of our business is 24/7, 365 days a year, a minimum of 10hrs a week will be required. A shift system is in operation, so you will be required to give notice of what hours and days you can work in a week in advance in order to ensure that there is a constant supply of operators for the business needs. If for some reason you are unavailable to work a pre-agreed shift you must inform a Manager so that cover can be arranged. Rate of Pay The rate of pay is as follows for a single text message you shall be paid 10 pence (20 cents) for a double text message you shall be paid 15 pence (30 cents) Payment Payment shall be made to the Contractor on the 15 th of every month for services provided to SJPCB Limited
Termination SJPCB Limited may terminate this agreement forthwith on notice in writing to the Contractor. The Contractor may terminate the agreement forthwith on notice in writing to SJPCB Limited.
Confidentiality Both SJPCB Limited and the Contractor have a duty to keep confidential all information given or gained in confidence. The contractor agrees not to either during the appointment or after it’s termination to divulge or disclose to anyone confidential information concerning any affairs of SJPCB Limited, and will only disclose information concerning the Contractor and recognized Authorities.
Taxation SJPCB Limited shall have no responsibility or liability for any Tax or similar payments in respect of sums paid by SJPCB Limited to the Contractor. The Contractor will keep SJPCB Limited indemnified against any claim for Taxation and National Insurance Contributions (which includes interest and penalties) or any similar Taxes or Levies arising by reason of the payments made my SJPCB Limited to the Contractor.
I.C.S.T.I.S Independent Committee for the Supervision of Standards of Telephone Information Services. The Contractor warrants that they have read the current code of practice edition, and all requirements of the code of practice are understood. Indemnity The supplier shall indemnity SJPCB Limited against any claims, demands, expenses or liabilities which SJPCB Limited may incur out of the services performed by the Contractor.
Law This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and the High Court of Justice in London shall the Sole Courts of Competent Jurisdiction.
Confidentiality The contractor also agrees when signing this contract that talk of SJPCB Limited’s business may not be discussed in public or private forums without the express permission of the management which should be gained in writing. Any discussions pertaining to the business is only permitted in the company chat
room located at msn groups.
