You can reduce junk mail by completing and mailing the form on the back of this sheet with a check or money order in the amount of $1.00 to remove your name and address from bulk mailing lists. Try these suggestions to help reduce other kinds of “waste” and turn them into resources… Buy products made of recycled materials. Recycle! Purchase items with the least amount of packaging possible. Make your own compost instead of using synthetic fertilizers. Buy a mulching lawn mower blade so you can mulch your grass clippings into your lawn. Reuse or recycle your grocery bags or take canvas bags with you when shopping. Walk, bike, carpool or use public transportation when possible instead of driving. Conserve water inside by washing only full loads of clothing or dishes. Fix leaky faucets. Install waterefficient faucet aerators, commodes and shower heads.
