Nonprofit Assistance Center (NAC), the King County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, and Seattle University School of Law team up to offer pro bono legal services. Through our Legal Clinics, attorneys will assist nonprofit organizations with nonlitigation matters such as: Starting a nonprofit organization Articles of Incorporation Filing for tax exempt status Board of Directors duties & liabilities Personnel and Employment Issues Conflicts of interests Contracts Bylaws State Tax issues Or any other matter that won’t involve litigation
The Clinic schedule: 3 Tuesday in February only at NAC and 3rd Monday of every month, March – December, at the Ronald A. Peterson Law Clinic Seattle University 1112 E. Columbia Street, Seattle Call 206-324-5850, ext. 10 for an appointment Sorry no drop – in consultations available No charge for Legal Clinic Services NAC will obtain information regarding your request and schedule an appointment with an attorney who specializes in your area of need. Priority is given to small nonprofits located in Seattle/King County with budgets under $350,000.
