Dear Quality Leaders and Agents, PRUnet Enhancements – New Business Proposals As part of our continuous efforts to support you even better in your sales activities, we are pleased to introduce to you a number of enhancements which we have recently done to PRUnet. The enhancements, which will be available to you on 7 November 2007, consist of the following: 1. The New Business Proposal menu has been expanded out of Policy menu (where it was previously located) with 3 sub-menus, i.e. Proposal Enquiry, Outstanding Proposals and NB Requirement Documents. The rearrangement is set to make it easier for you to search for or enquire on the status of the new case submitted; 2. We have expanded the function of the Outstanding Proposals sub-menu, to provide you with an extra avenue to print non-confidential New Business Outstanding Requirement documents and New Business Requirement letter (Agent Notification) at any time convenient to you;
(Note: As we will continue to deliver the physical New Business Outstanding Requirement documents to you, please ensure that there are NO DUPLICATION of requirement submission to us. The Company will NOT reimburse the cost of any duplicated medical report / test done.)
3. We have also created the NB Requirement Documents sub-menu to replace the current Questionnaires link. You will be able to view and print standard NB Requirements templates such as Questionnaires, Amendment Form templates and so on from this new sub-menu. As you will soon be able to print New Business Outstanding Requirement documents from the enhanced Outstanding Proposals sub-menu, please be informed that you will be required to bring along the following documents when you take your clients for these tests: Type of Requirement / Test 1. Medical Examination Type of Documents printed from PRUnet a) New Business Requirement Letter b) Medical Examination Letter to Medical Officer a) New Business Requirement Letter b) Blood Test Letter to Medical Officer c) Consent & Authorisation Letter

Appendix A
1. New Business Proposal Menu The NB Proposal Menu has been moved to an independent link and no longer resides under the Policy Menu. Under the Proposal Menu, there are 3 sub-menus, namely; Proposal Enquiry (existing link) Outstanding Proposals (enhanced link) NB Requirement Documents (new link)
2. Outstanding Proposals (enhanced link) Here, you are allowed to print: a) New Business Requirement Documents b) New Business Requirement Letter
a) New Business Requirement Documents i. New Business Requirements with the message “click here to print” under the Doc ID field allows you to print the NB Requirements Documents. New Business Requirements with the message “wait for physical document from HQ” under the Doc ID field – this means, you will have to wait for the physical requirement documents from HQ as they are required to be sent out in sealed envelopes.

iii. New Business Requirements without any message under the Doc ID field - you may proceed with the requirements as per remarks stated or as per the requirements called for.
b) New Business Requirement Letter (Agent Notification) – Sample A You may print the New Business Requirement letter by clicking the “Print” button on the top left hand corner highlighted in the screen shot below:

3. For Blood Test and Medical Examination Requirements Blood Test and Medical Examination Requirement are divided into 2 categories :

Click Here To Print – You may print the requirements documents directly from the Outstanding Proposal menu. Wait For Physical Documents from HQ – HQ will deliver the physical requirement documents in sealed envelope to you.

Click Here to Print The following Requirement Documents will be printed for Blood Test and Medical Examination requirement upon clicking on “Click Here to Print” from the Outstanding Proposals menu.

Important Note: All Blood Test and Medical Examination Requirement Documents (as stated above) that are printed directly from the Outstanding Proposals menu must be accompanied by the New Business Requirement Letter (sample A) when you bring your client for Blood Test or Medical Examination. This is in view that the New Business Requirement Letter will indicate the specific illness that the Medical Officer should pay attention to for the said test / examination.
