                           RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
                     FACILITIES AND SERVICES AGREEMENT
                         WITH MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY
                       FOR THE “SENIOR SPRING SWING”


       WHEREAS, the Monmouth County Division on Aging, Disabilities & Veterans’

Interment Affairs has planned an event for the benefit of seniors, entitled “Senior

Spring Swing” to be held at Monmouth University on May 4, 2010; and

       WHEREAS, Monmouth University has asked that the County execute a

Facilities and Services Agreement for this event; and

       WHEREAS, Thomas F. Pivinski, Executive Director of the Office on Aging,

Disabilities & Veterans’ Interment Affairs, has recommended the proposed

agreement; and

       WHEREAS, the amount to be expended under the proposed contract will not

exceed the Fair and Open Threshold.

       NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Chosen Freeholders

of the County of Monmouth that the Executive Director of the Office on Aging,

Disabilities and Veterans’ Interment Affairs, be and he is hereby authorized to

execute the proposed contract with Monmouth University in the estimated amount of

$7,675.00.

       BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the form of the agreement shall be subject

the approval of County Counsel.
       BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution is subject to the filing of a

certification by the Chief Financial Officer, stating that funds are available in the 2010

budget, in the following line item and amount:

              0-01-27-355-610-696                        $6,310.00
              G-02-41-701-AAA-312                         1,365.00
                                              Total:     $7,675.00
