Research Executive. ID: 880052. London. Salary: £24k - £26k. Our client, a world leader in Market Research and information services require a Research Executiev. This specific division, Consumer, consists of quantitative and qualitative researchers concentrating on a mixture of global, UK, continuous and ad hoc work for clients in the dynamic and exciting consumer area. They conduct brand health evaluation, advertising research, customer satisfaction, segmentation, product development and motivational research on behalf of the leading global and local FMCG players in the consumer arena. A lot of their work is international in scope. They have several ‘Global Key Accounts’ which are some of the largest and most high profile global programmes within my Client. THE ROLE This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Research Executive to work within a team that strives to be at the fore front of Consumer research. You will have the opportunity to work on both continuous and ad-hoc, for a variety of high profile and exciting clients. As Research Executive, you will be responsible for: Intelligence Preparing proposals and costings for projects. Involvement in preparing presentations. Wit Developing excellent relationships with clients. Liaising with overseas field agencies to ensure all fieldwork is conducted to high standards. Attitude Producing high quality analysis and reports. Monitoring and checking data quality. Imagination Planning and setting up projects. Preparing field materials (questionnaires, briefing notes, interviewer instructions). SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED In order to achieve success in this role we would be looking at candidates who can demonstrate the following: • Knowledge and experience of quantitative research, gained from working in a research agency desirable, not essential. • Flexible approach to work, able to manage several tasks concurrently, work under pressure and react positively as requirements change and develop. • Must be highly numerate, with an eye for detail, and commitment to getting things right first time. • Creativity in approach to problem solving. • Knowledge of or keen interest in the Consumer sector. • Energy, enthusiasm, a desire to succeed and to help others to do so as well. • A self-starting, ‘can do’ attitude backed by a willingness to take ownership and responsibility. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Good MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills plus should be keen to learn new applications.
