					.   Steps for a successful show
      First, set a time and date for the show
            Write date on packet and in your calendar - in pencil
            Write Name, address, home, work and cell phone numbers, time, who booked from
      Second, review the entire hostess packet
            Shop (creating excitement and desire for products)
            Invite (go over each step on the candle party to do list)
            Focus on the 4 O’s of success
                     Over invite
                     Outside orders
                     One booking in advance
                     Offer opportunity
      Third, mail a “thank you” post card for booking a show and a few days later mail a “reminders
       for a successful show!” post card
      Fourth, mail a confirmation letter with the monthly hostess specials four weeks before the show
      Fifth, call 12 days before the show and review checklist
      Sixth, call 2 days before the show and review checklist

12 Days before the show checklist
        Confirm day and time of show
        Confirm that reminder cards have been sent out
        Ask who has been invited and who is attending? New guests, family, friends, neighbors
        Encourage them to have their guests bring a friend
        What do you have on your wish list?
        How are your orders from guests who are unable to attend?
        One booking gives you 25% hostess credit, instead of 15%
        Who are you planning to ask to schedule a show for you?
        Did you see what PartyLite offers for multiple bookings? What booking gift do you like?
        Is there anything that appeals to you about working for PartyLite?
        We will be closing the day of your show so have all outside orders with payment ready
        I will be calling you a day or two before the show for directions and a final count

2 Days before the show checklist
      How many guests have confirmed for your show?
      Make sure to give your guests a last minute reminder call.
      Do you have all of your outside orders in with payment?
      I will be closing your party tomorrow night.
      Is a friend or family member interested in having a show?
      Have you decided what multiple booking gift you would like?
      Do you have any last thoughts about starting your own business with PartyLite?

      Do you have somewhere in mind for me to set up or should I bring a table?
      Ask all last minute cancellations to purchase a PartyLite gift certificate for your show over the
       phone. You can take a debit or credit card payment at this time.
      May I please have directions to your home?
      I will be arriving a half hour before your show to setup.
      End the call with a sincere thank you and excitement!

Most importantly remember to pass out all 25 of your reminder cards 12 days before your show.

Enclosed are the wonderful Hostess Specials for you to take advantage of, along with the Free Hostess Credit and
Half Price Items of your choice.

Below are a few reminders:

            Please invite between 25 and 30 guests to have at least 12 in attendance at your show
             o Invite each guest by telephone first, use your hostess checklist to help create a list
             o Only half of the people you invite will attend the day of your show
             o Ask each guest to bring a friend

            Outside Orders will help you get more products for free
             o Ask the guests who are unable to attend to place an order
             o Gift ideas for employees, friends, weddings, wives, girlfriends and grandparents
             o Have all outside orders paid BEFORE your show. Checks are made payable to me not PartyLite
               Gifts.
             o When you get $200 in outside orders before your show, you can purchase a petite 3-wick for $18

            A Pre-Booking will guarantee your higher free hostess credit
             o Obtain at least one booking before your show
             o I will work on additional bookings at your show to earn an extra 50% off any one item at each
               booking held within 30 days of your show date!

            Closing the day of your show is highly recommended
             o This will help you and your guests receive your orders quickly
