Travel Smart Centers, Ltd
Approximately 600million people from all parts of the world travel internationally. Of
these, ~80 million travel from developed to developing countries; the majority of these
destinations are in the tropics.
Approximately 20% return home with significant infections of: the skin such as
Pseudomonas Folliculitis; eyes; G-I tract; Respiratory System; Malaria; and viral hepatitis
among others. Beyond these Infectious Diseases, there are far more people who have pre-
existing Cardio-Vascular Disorders (Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Failure, Stroke-prone);
and other chronic problems such as Diabetes, and fail to take care of their medical
conditions. A third category of medical problems are accidents and other mishaps, whether
skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving, or rock climbing. A number of these have sleep loss,
exhaustion, and alcohol as contributing factors.
The Travel Smart Centers are being developed on a schedule, with the New York City
area, San Francisco, and Houston among the initial group. Paris, Stockholm and Tokyo will
follow, and so on, around the world. Our goal is to provide precautionary information, and
to sell special formulations of nutrients that are known to enhance: the Immune system; the
Cardio Vascular System; the effects of Insulin; reflexes; coordination; and muscle strength.
We urge all travelers to contact the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
for crucial information that will help them have more fun and more business successes at
their specific destinations.
The easiest way to get the CDC information is via their website: www.cdc.gov/travel
To contact the CDC: 1.800.CDC.INFO, telephone is active 24/7. The general website is
The Travel Smart Centers concentrate on the Travelers’ Destination, and not the actual
travel by airplane, or other conveyance. It is at the Destination where the largest majority
of inconveniences and problems arise.
Approximately 50% of the medical problems encountered are due to pre-existing medical
conditions involving the Heart, the Brain and Diabetes. Therefore, the traveler’s Personal
physician should be notified 4-6 weeks before the trip in order for the doctor to have time to
administer the relevant vaccines, some of which require a multi-week lead time, and to
“check out” the patient’s present condition. All of this is to help assure the most fun and
business satisfaction from the trip.

Travelers are generally excited in anticipation of the fun inherent in new places, and in
the prospective business opportunities. Many business travelers however get off one plane,
and walk to the next terminal to catch the next plane. Doing six cities in four days is not
uncommon. Among the oil industry travelers, the schedules are very tight and exhausting.
We also have known a number of medical leaders who had extreme travel schedules,
such as two of our friends, Dr. Jonas Salk, who was in the Frontlines of getting rid of Polio,
and Dr. Luc Montagnier, the 2008 Nobel Laureate in Medicine, who discovered the AIDS
virus and delineated how it replicates and invades…thereby “opening the door” for the
successful development of the anti-retroviral drugs… Both survived and thrived with the
help of our nutrient supplements that fill the “nutrition voids” that are a part of the
Dr. Salk was called upon to make many trips throughout the world when the W.H.O.
switched from the oral, Sabin vaccine, to the injectable Salk vaccine, in the 1980’s. Dr.
Salk’s travel proved crucial in increasing the use of the Salk vaccine which had proven safer
than the Sabin vaccine…but it was a lot of hard work for Dr. Salk. His suddenly scheduled
trips, most by the W.H.O., often into the tropics and poor countries, prompted urgent phone
calls from Dr. Salk to see if I could meet him at JFK airport in New York to provide him
with our special Supplements that have high-doses of safe, pharmaceutical glutathione that
works very well orally. He did lighten the tension by joking that he “…wouldn’t leave the
airport without them…” He changed the course of Medicine, and also advised us on the
development of our pharmaceuticals for infectious diseases, and diabetes. Dr. Salk charted
the way to promptly and successfully test drugs and vaccines.
Dr. Luc Montagnier and his staff worked, literally, around-the-clock at the Pasteur
Institute in Paris, to pin down the AIDS virus and its methods of replicating and infecting
cells. He was also the most responsive in traveling to Africa and other difficult places to
more fully understand the epidemic… along the way he developed the first AIDS research
centers in Africa, and helped to bring more resources into the war on AIDS.
Dr. Montagnier is still at war on AIDS, but his travel schedule is very demanding.
Despite the difficulties posed by the dangerous destinations, he has not gotten sick. He
followed in the foot steps of Dr. Jonas Salk and adopted the defensive pharmaceutical
Together, Dr. Montagnier and Dr. Harry Demopoulos are developing studies that can
help to make some of the AIDS drugs less harmful, and also to spur the Immune System
into an eradicative mode.
Travel is fantastic, and more and more people are making it integral parts of their lives.
However, we believe that the fun, excitement and business meetings lead the travelers to
miss good, healthful foods, such that they do not get the daily nutrient supplements
needed…for example, not too many travelers to the tropics take in their 1200mg of calcium
everyday, or their vitamin B-12 that sustains the nervous system and the red blood cell
forming tissues. The loss of sleep, and continuing sleep deprivation result in developing a
glutathione (GSH) insufficiency. This GSH molecule is the centerpiece of 500 million years
of biochemical evolution, resulting in precise regulation of hundreds of genes, thousands of
The most important component of our Supplements is the pharmaceutical glutathione
(GSH) that keeps the Human immune system in its eradicative mode against infectious
microbes and also prevents allergic and asthmatic attacks. The travel destinations can
sometimes precipitate: serious cardio-vascular events; less than prime reflexes and
coordination; less than optimum muscle strength; and inadequacies of the Immune System.
Our Glutathione repletes the GSH levels inside the body’s cells and elicits prime functions.
We believe the Travel Smart Centers are innovative, and represent a positive
development for Travelers. It fills a real need, wherein there is little competition at this time,
and offers an opportunity for robust financial returns.
