CitiFinancial Canada Inc. believes that learning is a lifelong journey and wants to recognize students
in the Fanshawe Financial Services program for their development and commitment of the
community. To show its commitment, CitiFinancial Canada Inc. will recognize a student for his/her
leadership, commitment to excellence and demonstrated interest in the community with an award
specific to his/her area of study. This award consists of a monetary prize, a certificate as well as
recognition at the College on the permanent CitiFinancial Canada Inc. plaque.
Criteria for Award
Students must have successfully completed the first year of the Fanshawe College Financial Planning
Services program and be returning for the second year. Students must have a minimum of a “B”
average during the previous terms and have no incomplete or failing grades. As well, students must
demonstrate community/volunteer involvement within the past five years.
Fanshawe College distributes the application forms to second year students in April. Students must
complete the form and return it to the Awards & Scholarships office, Room K1003 by Friday, July 10,
2009. The CitiFinancial Canada Inc. Award will be presented at the annual Awards Ceremony in
