Letter of Award – Petronas Carigali
Global Tender Barges Pte Ltd has received a Letter of Award from the Malaysian based oil company Petronas Carigali, for its Alligator Tender Barge for operations offshore Malaysia. The duration of a contract is 4 years with a following one year option. The total contract value is around MUSD 200, represented by an average day rate of USD 135,000. Currently, Alligator is operating on a contract with Chevron offshore Angola until end of 2008, and will thereafter, upon 5 year Special Periodic Survey (SPS) and upgrade at shipyard, be transferred to Malaysia to work for Petronas Carigali.
