TH CODE CH.551). The Hays County Commissioners Court will hold a meeting at 9:00 A.M. on the 6 day of May, 2008, in the Hays County Courthouse, Room 301, San Marcos, Texas. CONLEY/BORCHERDING 7 Call for a public hearing on May 6, 2008 to establish stop signs at the entrance of Dudley Johnson Park and Randall Vetter Park. SUMTER/PINNIX 8 Call for a public hearing on May 20, 2008 to establish traffic regulations in Sawyer Ranch subdivision. FORD/BORCHERDING SUBDIVISIONS 9 07-4-074 Key Ranch Subdivision (156 lots); Consider approval of PRELIMINARY PLAN. FORD/IRVIN MISCELLANEOUS 10 Discussion and possible action to hire a Collection agency to handle accounts from June 2003 that have outstanding Judgments owed to the County. SUMTER/SEIM 11 Discussion and possible action regarding the Goals and Criteria Workshop as being scheduled by Envision Central Texas as part of the Greenprinting process. FORD 12 Discussion and possible action to hire Grants Administrator above minimum of pay grade. SUMTER/BAEN 13 Discussion and possible action to install a fax line and pay monthly charges at Judge Rodriguez residence to support the Hays County Mental Health Crisis team. SUMTER/RODRIGUEZ 14 Discussion and possible action to adopt and modify the Hays County Sheriffs Office and Hays County Deputy Constable base pay, modify our open range policy and replace with step process, and initiate a package to pay for uniforms for Hays County Sheriffs Officers to be proposed for the 2009 budget. CONLEY 15 Discussion and possible action to accept appointments from Commissioners and County Judge for the Citizens Bond Advisory Committee. SUMTER 16 Discussion and possible action to authorize expenditure for new Pct 4 office to connect to the Dripping Springs Water Supply Corporation’s public water supply system. FORD 17 Discussion and possible action to fund a full time Fire Marshal position beginning June 1, 2008. SUMTER/CZICHOS 18 Discussion and possible action to authorize County Judge to sign a professional services agreement with Fugro Consulting for construction testing services at Pct 4 new office site. FORD 19 Discussion and Possible Action to authorize the County Judge to execute an extension of the Option for the purchase of the Baptist Church property in Wimberley, Texas. CONLEY 20 Discussion and possible action regarding amendment to existing Naismith contract for additional costs for site engineering services at Pct 4 office building. FORD 21 Discussion & possible action to authorize the purchase of 3 five drawer lateral filing cabinets to replace existing cabinets and amend the budget accordingly. SUMTER/HERZOG 22 Discussion & possible action to amend the County Travel Policy to increase the meal allowance for employees while traveling on County business. SUMTER/HERZOG 23 Discussion & possible action to authorize Purchasing to issue an RFP for the purchase of new financial accounting software. SUMTER/HERZOG 24 Discussion and possible action to authorize a temporary, part-time position for Precinct 2 Commissioner’s office to facilitate the continuation of the 1626 project previously approved by Commissioner’s Court on October 30, 2007. BARTON 25 Discussion and Possible Action to authorize the County Judge to execute a Professional Services Agreement hiring a title attorney for the specific and limited purpose of real estate services. SUMTER 26 Discussion and Possible action to authorize the County Judge to execute two Hays County Purchase Contracts to Robert Tijerina Jr. and Elias F. Salinas for ROW acquisition on McCarty Lane INGALSBE Workshop 27 1:30 PM Discussion and possible action regarding updated subdivision rules. FORD 28 4 PM Regarding update and activities for the Goals and Criteria Workshop scheduled for May 7th by Envision Central Texas as part of the TPL Greenprinting process – including a scheduling discussion for other ECT/TPL proposed events. FORD EXECUTIVE SESSIONS The Commissioners Court will announce it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from Legal Counsel to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation, and personnel matters as specifically listed on this agenda. The Commissioners’ Court may also announce it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, to receive advice from Legal Counsel regarding any other item on this agenda.
