The online activity requires students to identify the Port of Brisbane’s percentile of trade with world regions. The printable version of this activity can be used in conjuction with the printable ‘What products are traded at port’, to match the commodities traded at the Port of Brisbane with their countries of origin or destination.
Suggested activity
Graph – Using WORD, generate a bar graph to represent: regions traded with commodities traded the percentages of trade. Think/Pair/Share Working in pairs, students can create a quiz relating to information drawn from the pie graph. Students can share their quizzes with other pairs and check their understanding of trade at the Port of Brisbane.
