Professional Experience
At least 5 years of experience in the implementation of maritime legal projects at the international level,
including assisting countries to undertake legislative reviews and implement new legislation/ reforms.

Education
University degree in International Maritime Law, with a focus on maritime security, counter-piracy or related
matters.

Language Skills
A high level of proficiency in English is required and a working knowledge of Arabic and /or French will be
advantageous.

Other Skills
Good computer skills, familiarity and experience with IMO matters and the broader UN and multi-lateral
organization system
