Azanzi Beach Resort , consisting of 35 luxurious villas, is situated approximately 45 minutes from the airport in Stonetown on the North Eastern side of Zanzibar, an Indian Ocean island located 40km east of from the mainland of Tanzania.
Set on an idyllic beach opposite the world-acclaimed Mnemba Island Atoll, which has become known as being the prime scuba diving and snorkeling site in Zanzibar, the resort will, in due course be graded and run as a 4-star boutique resort. Construction on the resort began in June 2007 and is anticipated to be completed by December 2008. A show unit will be completed by September 2008.
