                               Communications Resource Room at
                                 Macarthur Disability Services

The Macarthur Disability Services (MDS) Communications Resource Room has been established to assist people
with a disability, their parents, carers and service providers to create individualised visual and communication
supports. The MDS Communications Resource Room is equipped with Computers, Printer, Laminator, Digital
Camera and Communication software to assist in the creation of these resources. For further information or to book

                                         Victor Reader Stream

We've recently introduced a new type of talking book reader known as the Victor Reader Stream from Humanware,
to our home library service. The readers are basically MP3 players designed specifically for people with a vision
impairment or a print disability. They are light, easy to use and can convert printed documents into read documents
on the fly. Our home library patrons are really enjoying reading from these great new devices.
                                                Christmas Hours

The Campbelltown Library Service will close at 1.00pm Thursday 24 December 2009.

Our libraries will resume opening hours from Tuesday 29 December 2009. From the 21 December to the 31
December 2009 all libraries will close at 5pm.

For the New Year period libraries will close at 1.00pm Thursday 31 December 2009, and resume normal opening
hours on Monday 4 January 2010.

Please note from Monday 21 December 2009 until Monday 4 January 2010 all Council's libraries will be open from
9.00am to 5.00pm
