3.   RESOLUTION APPROVED - SHARON WALTERS APPRECIATION

     Motion by Commissioner Doyle, seconded by Commissioner Meador, t o
     approve a Resolution honoring Sharon Walters in appreciation of her support
     of the library system and her dedication to the community.

      approve the purchase of approximately 61.3 2 acres of land located on Hilbig
      Road, f or in future projects, as per Contract on file. Motion carried. (Funding
      from Contingency.)

7.    REQUEST APPROVED - SALARY INCREASES - 9 TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT
      COURT

      Mot ion by Commissioner M eador, seconded by Commissioner Chance, to
      approve the follow ing salary increases:

      a.    Jennifer Cont ella - addition of $15,600 in salary,w hich w as lost due to
            the redist ricting of the 9 t h Dist rict Court and also due t o her increased
            dut ies as office manager and criminal court coordinating dut ies.

      b.    Sarah Qureshi - addition of $5,824 in salary, w hich w as lost due to
            the redist ricting of the 9 t h District Court.

      c.    Judge Edw ards - addition of $1,200 in salary, w hich w as lost due to
            the redist ricting of the 9 t h District Court.

10.   REQUEST APPROVED - NEW POSITION - DISTRICT ATTORNEY

      Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, t o
      approve a new position to replace Investigator Chris Smith. Said position
      requested w ill be for a Misdemeanor Investigator to replace Chris Smit h, w ith
      at a salary of $45,0 00.0 0, as per Memo on file. Motion carried. (Funding
