									             ATTENTION APPLICANTS
Clerical Skills Tests will be conducted at Workforce
Solutions (Conroe office) beginning Thursday, January
11, 2007. To schedule a clerical skills test, please call
(936) 539-7886.

The Montgomery County HR Department will accept applications
after you have registered and tested at Workforce Solutions. You
may register and take a typing test at any Workforce Solutions’
office, but you may only take the clerical skills test at the Conroe

The location of Workforce Solutions is

At this time, tests will be scheduled for Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00 am
and 3:00 pm at Workforce Solutions, Conroe. If classes are full, you may
have to be scheduled for a later date.

If you have previously tested with the Montgomery County Human
Resources Department, those test scores are still acceptable and will be
good for 2 years from the date of test.

Before clicking on “apply now” make sure you have followed the steps

Once you have completed the preceding steps, you may click on “apply
now” and send an email requesting that we send a copy of your
application to any department with a job opening for which you meet the
minimum qualifications. If you do not meet the minimum qualifications or
you have not completed the application process, your application will not
be sent.

The Montgomery County HR Department will only accept walk-in
applications between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday
through Thursday, and between 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays.

This only slows down the application process and makes it difficult for us
to process job openings and applicants in a timely fashion. We regret that
we cannot take the time to get to know each applicant personally, but the
volume of applicants does not allow us time to do so if we are to meet our
goal of matching applicants and jobs as quickly as possible.

It is your responsibility to update information on file with us. You will need
to come by our office to provide new and/or additional information – we
are not able to update information by phone.
