                         7:30pm – 9:00pm Monday, September 1st 2008
                                         Windmill Inn
                                 Off A556, by junction 19 of M6
Chester Road, Tabley, Nr Knutsford, WA16 0HW

September brings us to shorter days and darker evenings. It hails the proximity of autumn and the end
of summer. Harvest Festival is one of the oldest known festivals. In the UK it is traditionally held on or
near the Sunday of the Harvest Moon. This moon is the full moon around the time of the Autumn
Equinox in September. It is closely followed by October with Halloween and November with Fireworks
Night.

Given the earlier setting times of the sun, we spend more time indoors , away from the fresh air, and
more time wondering if it is safe to go out at night as the dark brings with it the inherent uncertainties
of things that lurk in the dark.

Following after the extremely interesting Summer Charity Ladies Evening organized by The H Club, we
are pleased to announce that the Windmill Inn has once more agreed to host this event for us at Tabley
(off A556, by junction 19 of the M6 motorway). Please note – this is a ticket only event – advance
reservations are required.

Event concept

This is a two part evening. We will be looking at the cleansing effects of Rock Salt Lamps – what are
they, how do they work, why do Asthmatics find them so helpful ?. Not only do they give an aura of
warmth and safety to your indoor environments, they are also claimed to have beneficial health effects
too! We will have several on display for you to view.

The second part of the evening will examine how we ladies can be confident that we have done
everything to keep ourselves safe from harm when we venture out in the darkest parts of the night.
We will hear from an expert in Self Defence for Women – a truly feminine lady who will give you tips to
keep you safe at night.

Description

You will learn about two ways to brighten your outlook and maintain your health and wellbeing as the
autumn nights draw in.

Invitees will benefit from:
 a focus on helping to maintain your safety when out and about on dark nights
 investigation of how Rock Salt lamps can positively affect your health

This is a by invitation, ticket only ‘Ladies Evening’ for clients and friends of The H Club and it’s member
practitioners. We will again be donating 50% of the proceeds to charity so please get your thinking
hats on and nominate a charity when you book tickets for yourself and your group of friends. The final
charity to receive the funds will be drawn on the night from nominations received. Please let us know
ticket numbers or non-attendance by 28th August 2008 by e-mail.

Why not make it into a full ‘girly’ evening out? Book a supper table for you and your friends by
telephoning the Windmill Inn who have kindly agreed to keep the kitchens open for those of you who
wish to buy supper there. Please pre-book a supper table for 9pm quoting ‘The H Club Ladies Event’.
