Note: Everett Coonfield (age 9) and Olive Persinger (age 3) are living only 14 families apart as enumerated in Green Township in the 1900 U.S. Census. In 1910, they are listed with family 122 and family 131, respectively, so it appears the Wes Coonfield and Henry Persinger farms are very close to each other in Morgan County. By the file: cens1900.doc 1 11/26/2008 1900 U.S. Census Entries 1920 Census, Everett has moved to the west side of Indianapolis, boarding with sister-in-law Julia Anna Robinson while Olive is still living with her parents on their farm. Also at Dwelling 82 resides Josiah Woodall (27), his wife, Louisa (24) and among their children, an oldest son, James F., age 6. Per Luke Inabnit and Effie Whitis interviews in 1977, there is a likely connection between Susie Whitis and a Jim Woodall relating to Ida Dugger (Worksheets 17 and 248, File E2 and Worksheet 254, File E4). There is also a William Woodall (54) residing in Dwelling 49, adjacent to Susie’s parents on Sheet 3B. Per Luke Inabnit interview, “John Sol” was eventually shot and killed around 1920 by neighbor, Harvey Whitaker, after John warned Harvey to stop selling moonshine liquor to his son, also named John (Worksheet 89, File E4). Other sources indicate she was born in 1825 in Kentucky. This census ennumeration shows 1821 in Tennessee. She is residing here in 1900 in the same voting district and near William Henry Dugger Jr. (e.04.3) who is ennumerated on Sheet 5A as Family 78. Robert (N.) Barnes is also here on Sheet 8B, Line 79, Family 148, born in 1844. He may be related to Clorenda (Barnes) Dugger, Lucinda’s daughter-in-law, born 1856. This family may provide a connection, as grandson James F. and grandfather James hint at the possibiity of a son, James, of the same generation at Susie Dugger. Next door to James Woodall is Willis M. Woodall, age 32, his wife Rattie, age 25, and one of their children is son James W. Woodall, age 7.
