TEAM STING PEAK PERFORMANCE TRAINING 2008-2009 CLINIC WILL INCLUDE: SPEED, AGILITY, STRENGTH, FLEXIBILIY AND PLYOMETRIC TRAINIG Get a head start on the competition and up-coming season. Last year Team Sting produced 10 players playing on college scholarships. These players all started with the Peak Performance Training Program. On AVERAGE, players increased their vertical, 3 inches and their broad jump, 17 inches. Along with the on-court work, what each girl does off the court to better their game plays a huge role in the success of their team and our program. The three goals of our training program are first to increase the power of each athlete. The more power you produce the higher you jump, the harder you hit, and the quicker you cover ground. Second, to prevent injury by balancing the muscle imbalances, strengthening the joints, improving flexibility and teaching proper jumping mechanics. Third, to condition each athlete to a level where fatigue doesn’t playa role in the outcome of a game.
