Hello & welcome to the second Dysartes.com Warhammer 40,000

Workshop Head Office, which is based in Lenton Nottingham on the

28th of May 2005.

Warhammer World’s address is Games Workshop, Willow Rd,

Lenton, Nottingham, NG7 2WS. For Directions, see:

http://uk.games-

workshop.com/news/uk/events/warhammerworld/directions.htm or

Tickets

Tickets cost £10, and include your lunch at Bugman’s Bar. We’re currently waiting on Warhammer World to get back to us with

the menu, but we shall update this file (and email anyone who has signed up) when we have that information.

For this Tournament you will need

 A WYSIWYG army of no more than 1500 points, created using the Standard Organisation chart. This may be made

from any official army list published by Games Workshop either in one of their Codices or Chapter Approved articles.

you.)

 Calculator (for working out Victory Points)

Tournament Points

Battle Report: At the start of the tournament, you will be issued with a sheet of paper, with space for each game. On it,

you will need to record who you were playing against, what the result was (and in whose favour), as well as the

Sportsmanship score you are giving your opponent, and any general comments you have on the game.

Generalship Points: Each game is worth a total of 20 points, split between the winner and loser as detailed below:

Result Winner Loser

Draw 10 10

Minor Victory 13 7

Major Victory 17 3

Massacre 20 0

Sportsmanship Points: This is a measure of how good a sportsman you found your opponent to be during the game, on a

scale of one to ten (ten being very good). Do not mark down a player due to his list; mark him with regards to his general

attitude within the game.

A player can also collect extra points for the following – note that all models must be at the same standard to achieve that

score; detailing two or three figures in a 100+ figure Tyranid army will not get you the points.

Painting: Note: Each model must be painted in at least three colours to be used. (This is a Warhammer World rule)

Fully painted (3 colours+ based) = 5 points

Details, squad markings and banners = 5 points

Extra special details (superb, detailed paintjob throughout) = 5 points

If you did not paint your army, please leave a note beside it when the judging is in progress. This will exclude you from the

Best Painted award.

Army selection:

Background/Theme (200-600 words about your army) = 5 points

Balanced (as deemed by judges) = 5 points

WYSIWYG = 5 points

Please note that you will be required to have submitted a copy of your army list and background to the tournament organisers

no later than seven days prior to the tournament, to be judged ahead of time. A reminder email will be sent out no later than

10 days prior to the event.

Total Points: The total points available within the tournament are 120.

Warm-up: Both players will spend 5 minutes or so before each game: Asking each other about their armies (wargear, squad

special rules, etc.) and terrain affects (i.e. sizes of the terrain, how unique terrain features work, etc).

You will NOT move any terrain that has been laid out, either before, after or during a game! Points may be deducted if you are

seen doing this and not returning it to its proper position on the board.

Disclaimer: We withhold the right to change the Rule Pack any time. Because of the nature of the tournament, we hold the

right to remove a player from the tournament if we deem that person to be of unsocial or violent nature. If need be, you may
