Make an advising appointment with Jen Mintzer by going to www.my.calendars.net/mintzeradvising. Instructions on how to claim an advising appointment time are listed on that page.
How are things going in your life in general? (dorm life, work, family, classes, etc.) How are you doing academically in your current classes? Did you get any academic warnings? Are there any classes you feel you should withdraw from at this time? (this is an option if you know there is no way you can pass a certain class) Do you know what you want to major or minor in yet? What is your overall goal (any specific occupation you know you want to pursue at this time?) What classes do you want to sign up for next semester? (Make sure you have alternate choices picked out too in case the classes you want get filled early.) Are there any 1 or 2 credit courses you want to sign up for? Any other questions you have?
Things we will discuss in our appointment:
