As the sun shone and a gentle breeze was felt, round 5 of the club championships got
underway. This month we were honoured to host our annual RAF prestigious event.

The first class to take to the track this month were Rotax Max with a very healthy grid. Heat
1 was won by Jacques Jenson, followed by James Bishop and Rob Smith. Heat 2 was won by
Paul Cleaver, followed by Richard Hughes and Jacques. Heat 3 was won by Jacques,
followed by Matt Dittmann and Nathan Lawley. Jacques secured pole for the final followed
by Nathan and Paul. Jacques lead the race from start to finish, but Paul was overtaken and
Nathan secured 2nd place with Paul finishing 3rd. The fastest lap went to Jacques.

The cadet class was very well supported this month with a full compliment of drivers. In heat
1, Harrison Thomas secured a win, followed by Jack Vallance and Kian Jackson. Heat 2 was
won by James Dehavillande, followed by Tom Hill and Keiron Wragg. Heat 3 was won by
James, followed by Ross Chell ans Sam Stansbury. James secured pole for the final. He led
the race from start to finish. Closely behind him was a very intense battle taking place.
Keiron Wragg moved through the field from 3rd to secure the 2nd place win and Kian Jackson
moved from 4th to finish 3rd. Fastest lap went to James.

It was another good month for our Minimax class with a strong field of competitors. Heat 1
was won by Alex Quinn, followed by Sam Morgan and Guy Perry. Heat 2 was also won by
Alex, followed by Sam and Guy.
Heat 3 was won by Sam followed by Robert Reed and Guy. Sam secured pole for the final.
He started the race well and held first place from start to finish. Robert moved from starting
4th to finish 2nd, and Guy who started 3rd maintained that position until the chequered flag fell.
Fastest lap went to Alex.

The RAFMSA class were supported by 13 drivers this month, as they took part in one of their
championship rounds as guests of our club.
Heat 1 was won by Claire Kemp, followed by Oliver Buckley and Chris Davies. Heat 2 was
also won by Claire, followed by Chris and Kevin Meynell. Heat 3 was also won by Claire,
followed by Liam Britten and Kevin. Claire secured pole for the final of which she led from
start until the chequered flag fell. Chris finished 2nd and Liam 3rd. Claire also secured the
fastest lap.

We had a full compliment of Jnr TKMs’ this month also. Heat 1 was won by Ashley Jones,
followed by Gavin Pitt and Jack Millward. Heat 2 was won by Ashley, followed by Gavin
and Danny Keirle. Heat 3 was also won by Ashley followed by Luke Cooper and Lee
Harrison.
Ashley secured pole for the final. After a very bumpy start, Lee moved through the field
from 6th to take the chequered flag, followed by Gavin and Luke Cooper who started 8th to
finish 3rd. Ashley Jones secured the fastest lap.

The 125 class was fast and intense this weekend. Heat 1 was won by Mark Todd, followed
by Nick Barnes and David Baldwin. Heat 2 was won by Richard Palmer, followed by Nick
and Mark. Heat 3 was won by Nick, followed by Richard and Mark. Nick secured pole for
the final, but didn’t hold onto it. Nick overtook Richard to secure the win, with Richard
finishing 2nd and David 3rd. Fastest lap went to Richard.

Lots of action took place in the Senior TKM class with many breath taking moments taking
place on various parts of the circuit. Heat 1 was won by Luke Ogden, followed by Tom Bond
and Joe Fox. Heat 2 was won by Ashley Yorke, followed by Luke and Guy Tolley. Heat 3
was won by Tom, followed by James Ogden and Luke Ogden.
Pole was secured by Luke who maintained this position from the start until the chequered
flag fell. Ashley and Tom exchanged places on the circuit and fought between themselves for
2nd and 3rd places. Eventually Ashley crossed the line 2nd and Tom 3rd. Fastest lap went to
Guy Tolley.

Junior Max this month were really close during their racing, with many overtaking
manoeuvres being seen on various points of the circuit.
Heat 1 was won by Matthew George, with less than a second separating then followed Jake
Dawson and Luke Thomas. Heat 2 was won by Joshua Collings, followed by Matthew and
Luke. Heat 3 was won by Joshua, followed by Jake and Luke. Joshua secured pole for the
final of which he led from start to finish. Jake and Matthew exchanged places after a very
close race with Jake securing 2nd place and Matthew 3rd. Fastest lap went to Joshua.

In the 250 Gearbox class Heats 1,2 and 3 were won by Mark Powell. Heat 1 2nd place went
to Ben Davis, followed by Robert Wynell-Mayow. Heat 2 2nd place went to Adam Tanner,
followed by Louis Wall. Heat 3 2nd place went to Aaron Sifleet and Adam.
Mark Powell secured pole for the final of which he led from the start to the finish. Adam
Tanner secured 2nd place after starting 3rd and Louis Wall who moved through the field from
6th finished eventually 3rd. Fastest lap went to Adam Tanner.
