Scheduler
1. Scheduler Slide/Scroll Rule - DOES NOT WORK
If they are scrolling up and down then simply DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO
SCROLL PAST ONE HOUR BEFORE OPEN AND ONE HOUR PAST CLOSE
TIME. Does not consider the close time for each day for each facility. For
example Toms River on Monday is open from 8:00 AM Till 7:00 PM and on
Tuesday it is open from 7:00 AM till 4:00 PM. Then for Monday the scheduler
should scroll from 7:00 AM till 8:00 PM and for Tuesday it should scroll from
6:00 AM till 5:00 PM.
OPEN AND CLOSE TIME FOR EACH FACILITY FOR EACH DAY
MUST BE CONSIDERED.
2. Physician Scheduler - DOES NOT WORK
a. Selecting patient through the physician scheduler does not open the
patient chart notes.
3. Set Appointment –
a. Save has to be selected twice to add an appointment.
b. The least it should have is STOP Sign indicating an Alert.
1. Stop sign is missing
2. Do not show “Are you sure….” If
the operator has Disallowed
warning. Also do not show OK
3. Also OK and Cancel together looks
tacky.
c. Why am I still getting Future Appointment alert
P2 4. Appointment Gap
1. Now I am missing the Stop Sign.
2. If the operator is Disallowed to override scheduler
warning then Why show the “Are you sure…”. Also
do not show OK button
3. By the way - OK and Cancel Button too close. Looks
tacky. Put some space between them.
4. It still look very ugly
5. Patient appointment is being made outside the procedure allowed time.
a. No Stop Sign
b. Follow-Up allowed time cuts off.
Why do we show F/U i.e acryonym if we show
Follow Up?
c. Why show “Are you sure…” if the
operator is Disallowed
d. Why show OK if the Patient is
Disallowed
Front Desk
1. Pt Appt
a. Should show all past patient appointment history as it does in Set
Appointment
b. It should also show all future appointments
2. Able to change status (Cancel, Confirm..etc.) of patient’s past appointment.
3. Cancel Appointments
a. If comments are added in the appointment and then Cancel is selected then
the comments are not saved.
b. If a comment is added for the reason of cancellation then the comments
should be appended to the Reason. The Notes in the Patient past
appointment history should show <Reason>: <Comments>. For example if
in the Comments it was added the “Brother called to cancel appointment”
and the Reason was chosen “Later Appointment”. Then in the patient
Status Notes it should show “Later Appointment: Brother Called to cancel
appointment”
4. PATINET NOTES POP-UP
1. Why are the drop downs in front of
the Alert.
Admin
Provider Schedule
1. Need the ability to put Practice Messages – The practice may have to communicate
P2 message to their staff. This message may be practice wide or specific location
only. In order to support this following changes are required
a. Admin
i. Facility Type – HQ, Add the following option
MOD Message of the day All Facilities
If All Facilities is checked then that message is displayed for all
facilities when ever the scheduler is invoked. Even if the other
facilities do not have any text in their MOD text box.
ii. Facility Type – Location Only show the MOD text box
MOD Message of the day
NEED TO READ THE SPECS CLEARLY.
THERE IS NO All Facility Check Box for
facilities other than HQ. So why Does Brick ,
and other facilities have All Facilities check
box?
a. Logic is very simple
If MOD defined for HQ
Then display MOD whenever HQ Facility is selected
If Not HQ (i.e. local facility)
If MOD defined (for local facility)
Then
Display MOD of the local facility whenever the facility is
selected
If No MOD defined for the Facility and All Facilities is Checked in HQ
Then
Display HQ MOD for the facility.
P2 2. Enforce Physician Block Time
a. In Admin-> Provider please add the following option
Schedule Warnings Disallowed Allowed

If the provider Schedule Warning are Disallowed
1. then do not allow them to make an appointment when
a. the physician is not schedule in the office. Display
message “Physician not in office”
b. or if the office is closed. Display message “Office is
closed”.
c. Appointment Gap – display the appointment gap
message as defined above but deactivate OK button
such that they can not make an appoinmnet
d. Maximum Allowed – Display the Maximum allowed
message and again deactivate the OK button such
